Simplifying the current state of libraries to a nine sentence post generalizes the issue to the point where Seth Godin doesn't say anything relevant.

Sarah, I have recently stumbled upon your blog, and I am glad I have found it! It is a real joy. I really love your response regarding information now being free so we can basically tell our accounts departments they no longer need to pay the bills! I work in a law firm, and mostly there is a sense in the legal world that libraries are very valueable and they appreciate that information can be difficult to source and comes at a cost. What can be suprising is some people from all age groups and professions in the legal world assume everything is freely available - why they think this way could be for a number of reasons and is usually easily turned on it's head once you are given a chance to point out a few truths about where information really comes from. Assumptions are dangerous and clearly lack any real authority to back their validity.
