Have you ever watched an awards ceremony and when someone is giving their winners speech they say, “Wow, it was really just an honor to be nominated!” and you say “Oh shut up, you lying liar that lies!”
Well, I was really honored when I found out that I was nominated to be one of the Fastcase 50.
Then I found out that I won and was happy, humbled, surprised and a whole bunch of other adjectives.
Then, when they publicly announced the full list of winners today, I was like, “SHUT THE FRONT DOOR. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???” I mean, seriously. Go read that winners list. Go on. I’ll wait.
Are you back?
…I KNOW, RIGHT?
I don’t suffer from false modesty, but I sort of feel that I am not fit to carry some of those people’s luggage.
So, I would just like to take the opportunity to issue a heartfelt thanks to whoever it was that nominated me and the selection committee. I am really truly honored and thrilled. I am also very happy for my fellow award winners, some of whom I think are really unsung heroes in their particular areas.

What Amy said. You are awesome. Congrats!
Shut the front door, you completely totally of course deserve the recognition. Sometimes we are the last to see our own greatness.
